Historical Notes from the Pages of The Hyannis Patriot Monday evening, October 29, 1923 Can't Expect to Win Every Game "Tabor Academy of Marion avenged a previous defeat at the hands of Hyannis High School's uncoached eleven here Saturday by walloping the Barnstable boys 25 to 0. Hyannis was never within scoring distance of the Tabor goal." The Marion backfield showed no end of punch and the line's offensive charge was a great improvement over past performances. Dawes gained repeatedly on line plunges, and his efforts were ably seconded by Luce and Teter. Murphy was Hyannis's best offensive threat. The summary:
