Historical Notes: First-year Red Raider head football coach Richard "Dick" Lasse came to BHS after five years as an NFL linebacker with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins and the New York Giants. His tenure here, sadly, lasted just one season. He then went on the following autumn to serve as the first-ever head football coach at Curry College where he would coach for five seasons before heading to Geneva College.
