Historical notes: Freshman D.J. Crook set the all-time BHS single game passing mark when he threw for 342 yards against Dennis-Yarmouth on Sept. 19, 2008, as well as the all-time individual passing mark for yards passing in a season and touchdowns thrown (15). On the flip side, 2008 marked the most points ever allowed by a Barnstable team as the Red Raiders allowed 329 points. Crook also set the all-time mark for most interceptions thrown in a season.
