Barnstable also tied a record for most touchdowns scored in a game - (9), previously set against Falmouth.

He also connected for his first field goal of the season, a 27-yarder. D.J. Crook suffered a fractured thumb on his throwing hand in the third quarter leaving way for New bedford to score 24 unanswered points in the fourth quarter and win the game. Barnstable is 3-14 all time on the road at New Bedford and 9-20-2 all time versus the Whalers.

Against Dartmouth on Oct. 14, 2011, Tom Mullen connected for five more PATs, making him 27-27 on the season and again, breaking his own record for most consecutive PAT kicks in school history.

*The Red Raiders' loss at Mansfield on October 28, 2011 was in overtime. The 36 yards of offense gained by BHS in the first half was the fewest amount of yards gained by the Red Raiders in one half in school history.

Barnstable's 26-20 win in overtime over B-R at home on Nov. 4, 2011 ended the Red Raiders' unbeaten season in the OCL and earned the team the OCL Championship title. Tom Mullen's PAT kicking streak ended in the first quarter at 33-33, the longest PAT streak in school history and the most by a Red Raider in one season.
