Barnstable High School Baseball 2009
Historical Notes: Hegarty, who went 3-0 as a sophomore and 6-0 as a junior and won his 10th decision to go 10-0 through 4-13-09, lost his first career varsity game on 4-20-09 to the visiting D-Y Dolphins. Everett Walsh was the first BHS freshman since 1966 to win a varsity game on the mound when he went 6 1/3 innings on 5-13-09 to defeat New Bedford, 3-1 on the road. Head coach Joe DeMartino became just the third Red Raider alum to man the baseball reins since BHS was established in 1873.
