BIO

No Red Raider fan can deny the historical or cultural impact that the 11-0 undefeated Super Bowl State Champion 1995 Red Raider football team has had on this entire community. Just as no Red Raider fan can deny the impossible to argue impact that offensive lineman extraordinaire Paul Allen LaQuerre had on the success of that undefeated team.

The last BHS football player to be named a high school All-American and one of only four such football players in the history of the school, LaQuerre’s high school career often went without the usual glory and fanfare of the press, but it is undeniable that without the presence, skill and fortitude of this former Red Raider phenom, Barnstable football would not have been placed on the map as it was at the culmination of that incredible autumn 13 years ago. He was inducted into the BHS Hall of Fame in 2008.
