BIO

What Bobby Orr was to the Boston Bruins, Billy Moore was to Barnstable High School ice hockey as he led the Red Raiders in scoring in both his junior and senior campaigns and paced the Red & White to its greatest season in school history in 1971-72 — the vaunted, undefeated (21-0) Division II State Champions. Before going on to play ice hockey at Salem State College, Moore put the icing on the cake of his Red Raider career with a hat trick in the Red Raiders 11-2 victory in the state championship game at the Old Boston Garden versus Amherst Regional.
