Barnstable High School Boys Spring Track 1949
Historical Notes: BHS only partook in two meets in 1949. Track & Field on Cape Cod had fallen by the wayside just prior to the beginning of World War II and then was not immediately picked up at the close of the war on Cape Cod until reinvigorated by Leo Shields in 1949. BHS was the only school on Cape Cod in 1949 that participated in track & field in the spring.
