Barnstable High School Football 1958
Historical Notes: The 1958 season was a rough one for the Red Raiders as the team experienced its worst defeat on record, 54-0, at the hands of a Dartmouth team that had one victory to its credit at that point in the season. With only 7 returning lettermen at the beginning of the season, the loss of speedy frosh Dan Hostetter (versus Somerset) to a torn knee ligament and several other stalwarts, left BHS in a difficult vantage point to win.
