Historical Notes This was the first season that high school football players were required to wear protective head gear. It is also the only season in the 108-year history of Barnstable High School football that its varsity defense finished the season without allowing a single point by its opponent. According to published news reports, BHS also defeated Provincetown a second time, as well as Fairhaven and one other team. |
