Notes: Kick and Punt returner and tri-captain Art Pacheco scored on returns of 98 and 100 yards, respectively, during the 1970 campaign. Halfback and team MVP Dave Brodd rushed for over 250 yards and two touchdowns versus D-Y and had over 100 yards in the tough, 7-6 loss to Falmouth at home on Turkey Day. Had BHS won on Turkey Day, it would have laid undisputed claim to the Capeway Conference Championship title. Instead, the Red Raiders had to settle for sharing the title. |
